Pentax announces Pentax Q, compact system camera
Pentax announces the Pentax Q a new camera with interchangeable lenses. According to the manufacturer it is the smallest camera in the world system.
In order to limit the size, the manufacturer has the Pentax Q features a 1 / 2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a capacity of 12.4 megapixels. The LCD display Pentax Q measures 3 inches and displays 460,000 pixels again. Furthermore, the camera incorporates a dust removal system and an image stabilizer function.
Besides pictures, the unit can also record 1080p video. The built-in flash has a range of about seven meters (ISO 200). The camera is equipped with a USB port, AV output and an HDMI connection.
The standard lens Pentax Q has a focal length equivalent of 47 millimeters. This effort will also be a lens, telephoto lens, a fisheye lens and a zoom lens available. The Pentax Q will fall in the market for around 600 euro’s.
