Pentax renew its line of compact, super strength and the series Optio WG-2
Exactly one year away from the line Optio WG-1, Pentax has decided to introduce the next generation of super durable and compact cameras dedicated for use in harsh conditions Optio WG-2.
The line Optio WG-2 did not differ significantly from its predecessors, but introduces a backlit CMOS sensor that can shoot 16 megapixel Full HD 1080p at 30fps. There is also a micro-HDMI for rapid sharing of content to other media, and a durable 3-inch LCD display with 460 000 points.
The cameras Optio WG-2 include a good title in the categories of “strong”, able to operate underwater for up to 12 meters, shock resistant and well protected from dust. The Optio WG-2 price is fixed at $ 350 with the possibility to have the GPS as a result of an addition of an additional $ 50 and the availability is expected in March.
