Samsung announces today with China Telecom on the Samsung SCH-W999. With this Android smartphone seems Samsung clamshell design again to breathe new life into.
Before the Samsung SCH-W999 was introduced, many phones of the type “clamshell”. Because the phone could be folded and kept it nice and compact display was also once protected. Samsung has inspired this design yet another attempt to bring smartphones.
Samsung SCH-W999 with two displays
The successor to Samsung’s W899 smartphone features two 3.5-inch Super AMOLED panels (480 x 800 pixels), a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 2.3. Furthermore, there is a 5 megapixel camera on the phone, Bluetooth 3.0 and supports dual SIM.
The Samsung SCH-W999 has so far only announced for release in China. Whether the Samsung SCH-W999 is later to Europe is still unclear.
